The word 聚 is a term symbolizing the gathering of people. Despite the COVID-19 restrictions preventing a physical gathering from happening, MAFCo still hopes to encapsulate the feeling of reunion through uniting the different generations of Hwa Chongians. 

The Mid Autumn Festival serves as an opportunity for the Hwa Chong family to return home. Although the doors to our school may not be open physically, MAFCo sincerely hopes to remind every single Hwa Chongian that they are always a part of our family. Not only is MAF an event that allows for alumni to relive their golden years through shared memories, it is more so an opportunity for the timeless Hwa Chong tradition to be passed down to current batches of Hwa Chongians, allowing them to experience the everlasting Hwa Chong Spirit.

This year’s MAF is an extremely special one. Through merging the physical and virtual aspects of our event, we hope to provide all Hwa Chongians a sense of belonging and a sense of home. A permanent reminder to them that once a Hwa Chongian, forever a Hwa Chongian.
