Significance of Faculty’s Character - The Owl
Athena, being widely known as the Goddess of Wisdom, Strategy and Warfare, represents our faculty as a whole as we will continue to be knowledgeable and perspicacious Athenians. The owl is emblematic of wisdom, and is also symbolic of our incorporation of fun and intuitiveness in everything we do. According to myth, an owl was a reliable presence that sat on Athena's blind side. Representative of our familial spirit in the Faculty, we strive to have each other’s back through thick and thin.

1. Orientation
Orientation is truly a special event for senior and junior Athenians alike. Donning our Fac Shirt and raising our Fac Sign to the skies, this is but one of the many events where we proudly showcase our strong faculty spirit! Welcoming our new Athenians to our big Owl family, important highlights of Orientation like Senior-Meet-Junior, where senior Athenians warmly welcome junior classes to Athena, and our POP Dance are cornerstones of our bonding experience!
2. Faculty Lunch/Brunch
Faculty Lunch/ Brunch is a special time for Athenians to bond (maybe even with other Faculties!) over food! Witness Athenian classes and acts give their all in the Performances segment, and bond with Athenians from other classes through the games set up! There’s never a dull moment; so get excited for possibly the best Lunchtime in your school year!
3. Festival of Sports
The Festival of Sports is an annual sporting event where students from faculties will come together to compete. Athenians, regardless of class, come together to put in their best for the Faculty during this unique sporting event. More often than not, we don’t just hope to compete, but to win! :D
4. FCIP
An annual Service-Learning event for all Athenians, Faculty CIP is when Athenians get a chance to put their big hearts on display. This event has been a fruitful experience for many past batches of Athenians, and it will continue to be for future batches as well. It truly is a heartwarming sight to see Athenians giving back to society and helping those in need.
5. Faculty outing
Our Faculty Outings never disappoint. The electric atmosphere and the exciting line-up of programmes provide a solace where Athenians kick back and enjoy themselves! An evening full of performances, games, food and fun, this is an event which you truly do not want to miss!
