1. Orientation

Orientation is the most hustling and bustling time of year as fresh-faced C1s familiarise themselves with Hwa Chong, a place to call home for the next 2 years. During Orientation, C1s take part in various bonding activities in their OGs (Orientation Groups) and CGs (Class Groups), facilitated jointly by the Students’ Council and the Faculty Committee. After being introduced to their faculties, we hope to ignite the faculty spirit within our juniors, to make all the new C1s proud of being part of Apollo. 

One of the highlight activities is the Post Orientation Party (POP) where all four faculties end Orientation off with a bang by competing against each other with a unique Faculty Dance prepared during Orientation itself. Seeing the C1 Apollo classes unite to perform the item is truly a sight to behold, definitely warms the heart of our beloved sun god.

2. Faculty Outing

The Faculty Outing is the biggest and most anticipated event we will have as a faculty outside of school. It is the time for all bullboys and bullgirls, and even those from other faculties, to kick back and have fun with one and another. It will be a night worth remembering filled with delicious food, great performances, and a whole lot of good memories.

3. FCIP

As a faculty, we will embark on a project together to serve the less privileged and interact with the community! Through this, we hope to experience the joy of giving back to society and develop social responsibility.

4. Faculty Lunch

After weeks of intense mugging and stress, Fac Lunch is just the time to come together to let loose and celebrate the end of Promos! With an exciting array of programmes ranging from games to performances coupled with good food, all bullboys and bullgirls can expect a memorable experience with the Apollo family.

5. Publicity initiatives

We have 3 main categories for publicity initiatives namely - The Golden Hour, Good Morning Apollo and Apollo Vlog. These initiatives aim to increase interaction within the faculty and to engage students to actively participate in challenges and quizzes. Our main platform to carry these initiatives is on Instagram but we will be pushing some of these activities on other online platforms as well.
