“Shadows of a thousand years rise again unseen,
Voices whisper in the trees, “Tonight is Halloween!” –Dexter Kozen

Hey Hwa Chong!

Halloween, (or Hwalloween as it is termed in HC) is celebrated on the 31st of October every year where the dead are remembered, and is often celebrated with activities such as trick-or-treating and the carving of pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns.

Here in Hwa Chong, with the end of the school year coming to a close, we’ve adapted festivities to celebrate the occasion in a special manner!

Drop by the Hwalloween’14 photobooth and snap a special moment with your friends to soak in the spirit of Hwalloween and to remember the end of the school term. Props are provided for in a box next to the photobooth; feel free to use them!

We’ve all heard about the multiple rumours and sightings of supernatural entities in Hwa Chong but the question is do you believe in them? Join Jun Jie, Claudia, Jiawang and Zheng Yang as they are forced to contend with their greatest fears as they traverse from one end to another of the campus in hopes of making it out alive.

With PW OP and A Levels just around the corner, we hope you’ve lightened your day! Believe in yourself and do your best, Hwa Chong! And once again, happy Hwalloween (:
