Boasting a team consisting of two national youth team players, the male volleyball team looks set to dominate the volleyball arena this coming season. With the team falling short of their targets in the 2008 season, the hunger and desire for success is growing within its team members who seek to win that elusive championship.

The team has been enduring gruelling trainings and friendly matches in preparation for the season. And the signs are positive for the team, which managed to defeat the likes of the experienced V Alliance (HCI Alumni) 5-2, the Men’s Open champions International Kakis 4-3, as well as putting up a tough fight against Temasek Polytechnic, the 1st Runner-ups in the IVP Championships this year, and narrowly losing out again St Hilda’s Secondary, the B Division National Champions, 4-3.

However, these matches and their scores do not accurately reflect the true standards of the team, for they were played in experimentation of various plays and strategies. Without a doubt, the volleyball team for now, will keep its head low and keep on training hard, in its bid to bring glory back home to where it rightfully belongs.
