Hey Hwa Chong!

Batch Project was held from the 15th April to 7th May 2014. Batch Project is a C1 legacy, where C1s come together to further a common social good.

This year’s Batch Project, Goody 2 Shoes, was a shoe collection drive for the victims of Typhoon Sendong in the Philippines. While it might have been 3 years since the tragedy, the troubles that they face still persist today. One pressing problem that plagues them is the persistent lack of footwear.

Truly, no act of kindness is too small to change someone else’s life.

Mother Teresa once said, “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

Thank you Hwa Chong, for making a difference in someone else’s life and helping us make this year’s Batch Project a resounding success.

1350 pairs of shoes, sandals and slippers – and we couldn’t have done it without you.
