Sports Season Montage 2012!

Itching to see your sporty friends in action again? Check out this year’s sports season montage once more! This year’s montage is done up by the 39th CCA PROs Jonathan Han and Zest Ang, to acknowledge the efforts put in by our Hwa Chongians in the sports season, doing us proud and bringing glory to Hwa Chong.

To round up this year’s sports season, let us do a little summary of our achievements this year. After 3 months of grueling training and fierce battles, our sportsmen have done us proud by clinching 13 National Champions, 13 National Second Placing, 6 National Third Placing and 5 National Fourth Placing. Traditional powerhouses Track and Field (Boys), Judo (Boys & Girls), Volleyball (Boys) and Basketball (Boys) have once again dominated the respective sporting events. Our other champions came from the Trampoline events (Boys & Girls), Table Tennis (Girls), Tchoukball (Boys and Girls), Fencing (Boys), Cross Country (Girls) and Canoeing (Boys) event.
As we look forward to more exciting action during next year’s sports season, let us give our sportsmen and sportswomen our utmost support and encouragement as they look set to scale greater heights. We would like to use this opportunity to thank our J2 sports seniors, who have given their all throughout the past 2 years and contributed immensely to the success of our sports teams. Also, while we marvel over our sports students’ achievements, let’s not forget about our non-sports CCAs as well! In the year ahead, be sure to look out for new initiatives which will be focusing on the Performing Arts and Clubs & Societies CCAs. Thank you!
