Shooting

The Hwa Chong Shooting Club has outdone itself yet again this nationals by bringing home Hwa Chong’s FIRST EVER medal in the pistol men’s category. Great play by Brandon Tan (09S77), Sherman Lim (10S7H) and Mark Ong (10S77), with scores of 539, 542 and 525 respectively, who surprised spectators and earned themselves a well-deserved bronze medal against traditional rivals RIJC and NJC. Well done guys!

Squash Guys

The guys played against NYJC, beating them with a score of 5-0.

Likewise, the squash girls continued their winning streak win a 5-0 win against AJC.

Soccer

The soccer boys’ match against AJC today was postponed until further notice.

Table Tennis

Both our A Boys and A Girls are throught to the Semi-finals after drubbing both SAJC and NJC 5-0 respectively!

The semi-finals will be held next monday, 12 April 2010!

Congratulations to both squash guys and girls team for maintaining such a fantastic record of winning straight sets throughout these few matches, and all the best for the subsequent matches as they continue to play against other JCs!
