Mysterious Personality: AYG2009!

Yes, for all you sleepyheads out there, this post is about the FIRST ever Asian Youth Games! But, no, it won’t be ALL about the Games!

Apparently, quite some time ago, Singapore earned the rights as the host nation for the pioneering of this unprecedented, prestigious event. This gathering is now widely seen as a preliminary test for Singapore, and with the exhilarating prospect of next year’s Summer Youth Olympic Games (which also happens to be the first of its kind), the world is looking towards the little red dot on the equator to deliver a brace of seamless, world-class sporting events.  

Is this all a coincidence?

We’re not too sure about that.

But what we ARE sure of, is where Hwa Chong will be looking towards, from June 29, 2009 to July 7, 2009.

This year, one talented, determined Hwa Chongian will be fighting for Singapore’s pride and glory alongside his teammates in the national team.

We urge you show this sportsman and all other athletes your fullest support over the course of the games.

We’re not telling you who… but if you tune in to MediaCorp’s Channel 5 on this Friday, 19th June 2009, at 10pm, you may just get a little something of what is to come…
